The First Tee of Greater Ocala SUMMER CAMPS

Young People ages 9 to 12

Summer Camp will be held Monday through Friday – 8:30 to 11:30 AM at Ocala Golf Club. Available dates will be: June 4 -8,  June 25 – 29, and July 9 – 13.
Summer Camps will consist of 3 segments.

8:30 to 9:30 AM – Fitness and Conditioning, stretching, putting, chipping, short game shots and full swing shots.
9:30 to 11:10 AM – On-Course Play – Lessons of how to use the course to your advantage and learning etiquette of the golf course. BASED ON AVAILABILITY of the Golf Course.
11:10 to 11:30 AM – Recap of what they learned during the morning session. Understanding the 9 Core Values and 9 Healthy Habits of The First Tee. Discussion of the Rules of Golf.
Friday the time will be extended one additional hour to serve a lunch.

Coaches Scott Curry and Eric Sipple will be assigned for individual training sessions with additional volunteers for support. Classes will need a minimum of 6 players to begin and will be a maximum of 12 players and open to boys and girls. The daily segment time will be subject to change.  Friday the time will be extended one additional hour to serve a lunch.

Total of 15 hours of golf  practice will be at this cost of $200 per player for the 5 day SUMMER CAMP.

Young People ages. 13 to 17

These Summer Camps will be designed to help young people with interest in playing on a High School Golf Team.

Summer Camp will be held Monday through Friday – 8:30 to 11:30 AM at Ocala Golf Club. Available dates will be: July 22 – 27 and August 6 – 10.
Summer Camps will consist of 3 segments.

8:30 to 9:30 AM – Fitness and Conditioning, stretching, putting, chipping, short game shots and full swing shots.
9:30 to 11:10 AM – On-Course Play – Lessons of how to use the course to your advantage and learning etiquette of the golf course. And situation of a competitive nature to prepare young people for the next level of golf. BASED ON AVAILABILITY of the Golf Course.
11:10 to 11:30 AM – Recap of what they learned during the morning session. Understanding the 9 Core Values and 9 Healthy Habits of The First Tee. Discussion of the Rules of Golf.
